     Glen Ayres
     
     
Glen Ayres, 68, died April 9 in a North Las Vegas hospital.
      He was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Nebraska City, Neb. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the retired owner of a carpet business and a 43-year resident of North Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Dora; and daughter, Claudette Cox, both of North Las Vegas; son, Steven of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
      Graveside services will be at 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice. Palm Mortuary-Downtown handled arrangements.
     
     Henry Bennett
     
     
Henry Bennett, 92, died Monday in a Las Vegas care center.
      He was born Oct. 22, 1906, in Independence, N.J. A retired machinist in manufacturing, he was a 22-year resident of Las Vegas.
      Palm Mortuary-Jones handled arrangements.
     
     Arthur Benson
     
     
Arthur C. Benson, 50, died Sunday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      He was born Nov. 30, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A cab driver, he was a six-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Luzviminda of Las Vegas; and sisters, Diane Baden of Danville, Va., and Elains Webster of Staartsburg, N.Y.
      Affordable Cremation & Burial Service handled arrangements.
     
     Helen Bratton
     
     
Helen A. Bratton, 76, died Monday in a local hospital.
      She was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Frankfurt, Ind. A typographical artist for the Las Vegas Sun, she was a 36-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughter, Carole Moran of Las Vegas; sons, Jesse of Pahrump, and Randolph, William Jr. and Timothy, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Jo Vaughn of Columbus, Ohio, and Thelma Beets of Sedalia, Ind.; brothers, Edward Young and Wayne Young, both of Frankfurt, and Dale Young of Crawfordsville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
      Services are private. Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary handled arrangements.
     
     Joseph Braun
     
     
Joseph Braun, 78, died Monday.
      He was born June 24, 1920, in Czechoslovakia. An Army veteran, he was a thee-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Aileen of Las Vegas; daughter, Amy Marquez of California; sons, Jay of Los Angeles and Maurice of California; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
      Burial will be in Los Angeles. Hites Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Barbara Colich
     
     
Barbara Colich, 92, died Sunday.
      She was born Nov. 16, 1906, in Tisno, Croatia. A homemaker, she was a 22-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 512.
      She is survived by her daughter, Rajka Campagiorni of Las Vegas.
      Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until services at noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary-Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
     
     Darvin Hallesy
     
     
Darvin James Hallesy, 33, died Monday at home.
      He was born Nov. 10, 1965, in Montana. An audio technician, he was a 10-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his father, John of Wyoming; mother, Marilyn of Las Vegas; brothers, Rex of Modesto, Calif., and Douglas of Las Vegas; and sisters, Patricia Kraus of Victorville, Calif., Renee of Denver and Lynette Stewart of Henderson.
      Burial will be in Wyoming. Hites Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Edwin Harlow
     
     
Edwin R. Harlow, 81, died Saturday.
      He was born March 20, 1918, in Illinois. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a two-month resident of Las Vegas, superintendent of the Zion, Ill., school board, president of Senior Citizens Center of Berryville, Ark., and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, American Legion and Office of Human Concern.
      He is survived by his son, George; daughter, Donna Ponzio; and one grandchild.
      Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Nathan Adelson Hospice. The family requests memorial donations be made to the hospice. Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Robert Hastings
     
     
Robert James Hastings, 68, died Monday at home.
      He was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Pennsylvania. An Air Force veteran, he was a security officer and a 21-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Las Vegas; son, Jayme Smith of Butler, Pa.; brother, Paul of Rochester, N.Y.; sisters, Lillian McCumber of Taylor, S.C., and Margaret Piipke of Greenville, S.C.; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
      Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Stephen Hedlund
     
     
Stephen Scott Hedlund, 49, died Saturday.
      He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Ames, Iowa. A computer programmer, he was a five-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his companion, Peggy McCoy of Las Vegas; daughters, Brook of Boca Raton, Fla., and Ashley of Las Vegas; son, David of Boca Raton; parents, Virginia and John, both of Glendale, Calif.; and sisters, Jannell Adams of Monrovia, Calif., and Diana Marshall, Susan McAndrews and Nanci Thomas, all of Glendale.
      Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary-Jones.
     
     Arthur Jenkins
     
     
Arthur J. Jenkins, 50, died April 8 in a local hospital.
      He was born June 18, 1948, in Fort Deposit, Ala. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a bus driver for a tour company, a 12-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Masons.
      He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Las Vegas; sons, Arthur Jr. of Mississippi and Joseph Hooks of Oklahoma; daughters, Nichole and Kimberly, both of Minnesota, and Tawakia Hooks of Las Vegas; brothers, Peter, Willie and Fred, all of Ohio, and Wilbert of Alabama; sisters, Ruthie Jones of Georgia and Rosie Coley of Alabama; and 10 grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home with services at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Arzetta Kaelin
     
     
Arzetta B. Kaelin, 82, died Sunday.
      She was born May 8, 1916, in Michigan. A retired medical assistant, she was a hospital volunteer and a 20-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her son, Ted Miller of San Dimas, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
      Services will be held in California. Palm Mortuary-Downtown handled arrangements.
     
     Samuel Kern
     
     
Samuel Kern, 89, died Sunday.
      He was born Jan. 17, 1910, in Vienna, Austria. A retired milliner, he was a two-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his son, Jeffrey of Las Vegas; daughter, Evelyn Miller of Montecito, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
      The family requests memorial donations be made to B'nai B'rith International. Affordable Cremation & Burial Service handled arrangements.

Jean Leslie Lidey, 73, died Saturday.
      She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Columbus, Ohio. A homemaker, she was a 38-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughters, Susan Cefaratti and Jenny Leddon, both of Las Vegas, and Nancy Wolfe of Cody, Wyo.; sons, Gary of Tonopah, Mitchell of Richland, Wash., and Charles of Las Vegas; brother, Mark Steward; and sister, Jo Ann Steward, both of Columbus; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
      Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in Trinity United Methodist Church. The family requests memorial donations be made to the church. American Burial & Cremation Services handled arrangements.
     
     Thomas McNeill
     
     
Thomas Roderick McNeill, 40, died April 9 in Utah.
      He was born Jan. 24, 1959, and was a 37-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his mother, Nancy of Las Vegas; brothers, Casey of Reno and David of Las Vegas; and grandmother, Marguerite Colwell of Dearborn, Mich.
      Local memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in all Saints Episcopal Church. Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City, handled arrangements.
     
     Ruby Miller
     
     
Ruby Louise Miller, 73, died Friday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y. A homemaker, she was a 50-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of Daughters of the Nile and Social Order of the Beauceant.
      She is survived by her daughter, Kim Keiser of Las Vegas; son, Tim of Oregon; brother, Darvy Hoppin of Nevada; and two grandchildren.
      Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Masonic Memorial Temple. Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Francisco Ornelas
     
     
Francisco Ornelas, 70, died April 9 in a local hospital.
      He was born March 9, 1929, in Brighton, Colo. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a laborer in construction and a 55-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Debra Robinson of Las Vegas; daughters, Donnalinda of Sacramento, Calif., and Melody Arjimo and Tina, both of Las Vegas; sons, Shane of Salt Lake City and Anthony Lawton of Las Vegas; brothers, Abe of Denver, and Joseph and Seal, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial & Cremation Services with services at 12:30 p.m. Friday in St. Christopher Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
     
     Victor Shah
     
     
Victor Stephen Shah, 84, died Monday.
      He was born Jan. 28, 1915, in Washington, D.C. A certified public accountant, he was a 43-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his daughters, Myrna of Las Vegas, Virginia of China and Victoria Loveland of Helendale, Calif.; sons, Nelson and Bang Da, both of Las Vegas; sisters, Daisy and Pansy, both of China; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 2 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home with burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Ralph Sisneros
     
     
Ralph L. Sisneros, 67, died Monday.
      He was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Los Angeles. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired meat salesman, a 21-year resident of Henderson and a four-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Kathy; and daughter, Annette Beck, both of Henderson; sons, Ralph Jr., Jay and Tony, all of Tacoma, Wash.; mother, Estefana Ayala of Yuma, Ariz.; sisters, Velia Carpio of Amata, Ariz., and Oleia Parra of Los Angeles; brothers, Don Carpio of Yuma and Tony Parra of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four grandchildren.
      Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Odyssey Harbor House Hospice. Palm Mortuary-Henderson handled arrangements.
     
     Bruce Teague
     
     
Bruce J. Teague, 74, died Monday.
      He was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Monarch, Okla. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a retired marketing executive for a telephone company, a 16-year resident of Henderson and a member of Masonic Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons.
      He is survived by his wife, Sunny of Henderson; son, Mont of Kirkland, Wash.; daughter, Lee Ann James of Sylmar, Calif.; and one grandchild.
      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary-Henderson followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
     
     John Trenery
     
     
John H. Trenery, 72, died April 9.
      He was born Sept. 22, 1926, in New Jersey. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired machine operator and a two-month resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his daughter, Donna Trenery-Erwin of Las Vegas; brother, William of Toms River, N.J.; and sisters, Florence Landy of Belmar, N.J., and Gertrude Conklin of Toms River.
      Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today and Thursday in Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with burial in Bunkers Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
     
     Emilia Villaluna
     
     
Emilia Villaluna, 78, died Sunday.
      She was born July 17, 1920, in Pangasinan, Philippines. A homemaker, she was a seven-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, Delfin; son, Romeo; and daughters, Erlinda Chu, Necia Lagasca, Leonora Dongon and Carolyn Pike, all of Las Vegas; 34 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Downtown with services at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Christopher Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Palm Memorial Park-Downtown.
     
     Peggy Wade
     
     
Peggy Wade, 70, died Sunday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      She was born March 12, 1929, in Cleveland. A retired nurses aide in a hospital, she was an 11-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughters, Linda Feigenbaum of Columbus, Ohio, and Laura Sullivan of Cleveland; stepfather, Bob Shook; and sister, Kathleen Kline, both of Las Vegas; brother, Thomas Henderson of Elgin, Ill.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
      Palm Mortuary-Henderson handled arrangements.
     
     Dorothy Wieland
     
     
Dorothy Wieland, 76, died Sunday.
      She was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Cleveland. A homemaker, she was a 10-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughters, Betty Ramsey and Georgia Shura, both of Las Vegas; brother, William Oberacker of Ellenton, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
      The family requests memorial donations be made to Frontier Girl Scouts of America. Affordable Cremation & Burial Service handled arrangements.
     
     Margaret Williams
     
     
Margaret Williams, 76, died Sunday.
      She was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Bridge Of Allan, Scotland. A retired secretary for a high school, she was a six-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her sons, Larry of Santa Ana, Calif., Glen of Norwood, Colo., and Craig of San Diego; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
      Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne. The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
