  •      The jazz group Fattburger returns to Boulder Station, 4111 Boulder Highway, to perform shows at 7 and 9 p.m. March 4 in the Railhead lounge.
Tickets are $15 and $20, and are available at all Ticketmaster locations, the Winners Junction Too promotion center or by calling 474-4000.
Together since the mid-'80s, the San Diego-based Fattburger has released 10 albums that have enjoyed success both in sales and on the radio charts. Recent albums "Sugar" and "Livin' Large" reached the No. 21 and No. 18 spots, respectively, on the Billboard charts.
The group's members come from richly diverse backgrounds. Before joining Fattburger, keyboardist Carl Evans Jr. backed Barry White, Stevie Wonder and Cannonball Adderly. Drummer Kevin Koch played alongside Herbie Mann and Dave Valentin. Bassist Mark Hunter performed with be-bop artists Clark Terry and Eddie Harris. And percussionist Tommy Aros played with Freddie Hubbard, Al DiMeola and Trini Lopez.
Guitarist Evan Marks joined Fattburger upon the departure of original guitarist Steve Laury in the early '90s.
