Some of the gloom and doom has been justified, but there are plenty of Web positives that naysayers rarely mention. The recent rash of virus-of-the-week scares help illustrate that no system is totally secure, but a little common sense goes a long way for users. Businesses sought for job fair at UNLV The University of Nevada, Las Vegas' Jean Nidetch Women's Center seeks companies to participate in its eighth annual job fair, running 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the university's Moyer Student Union. Women's center officials say they expect 1,500 job seekers and 120 job recruiters to attend this year's job fair.
