Craft festival

at Cashman Center

The Great Craft Festival returns to Las Vegas this weekend with more than 200 booths representing 300 crafts workers from around the west.

Held at Cashman Center's exhibit halls A and B, the event features exhibitors from Montana, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington and Oregon working in a variety of mediums: jewelry, pottery, leather, woodwork, fiber, glass, sculpture, toys, fine art and weavings.

Event hours are noon to 6 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $2 for children 6-16 and children 5 and younger are admitted free.

Art festival

at Craig Marketplace

More than 60 artisans from Nevada, Arizona, California and Utah will display their works Saturday and Sunday during the Craig Marketplace Art Festival at 7101 W. Craig Road.

Featured artists from Southern Nevada include Tanti Hill, Deanne Stoll and Chuck Siefert.

Event hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Admission is free.
