TICKETS: Shakira's saucy act to shake up Mandalay Bay

Shakira performs Jan. 25 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Tickets are $35, $55, $75 and $100. The Rolling Stones return to the MGM Grand Garden arena on Feb. 8. Tickets are $125, $250 and $350. Stones fans can get numbered wristbands from 10 p.m. today to 9 a.m. Saturday at the box office; then a number will be picked at random, and a line will form sequentially behind the person with that numbered wristband. The Hard Rock on Dec. 5 stages Zwan, the new band that features Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, plus bass player Paz Lenchantin of A Perfect Circle, Slint guitarist David Pajo and one-time Guided by Voices guitarist Matt Sweeney. Clockwise, the latest band to release a major-label album, opens for Taproot and Hoobastank at the Hard Rock on Dec. 20. Tickets are $18. They went on sale last week at the box office and through Ticketmaster. Zebrahead and One Side Zero rock the Huntridge Theatre on Dec. 13. Tickets, $15, went on sale this week at the box office, 1208 E. Charleston Blvd., and through Ticketmaster, or charge by phone at 474-4000.
