"The Desert Sculptors," a new exhibit by members of the Desert Sculptors Association, will be on display in the rotunda of the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, from Dec. 16 through Jan. 24.
Viewing hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A free public reception for the artist will be held noon until 2 p.m. Jan. 24.
This exhibit will highlight the talents of sculptors belonging to the organization. The 12 artists showing their work will bring a wide variety of styles, media and subject matter to the venue.
Work ranges from large, free-standing abstract sculpture to small jewelry design. Materials range from marble and bronze to found objects and ceramics.
The artists exhibiting their sculpture are Victor Aguirre, John Banks, David Berg, Sue Brna, Karen Fedelleck, Constance Gafney, Lynne Jordan, Sophie Lenz, Sandra Messina, Susie Pinjuv, Roberta Baskin Shefrin and Art Wells.
