Eve headlines radio event

Eve, Scarface, Trick Daddy, Trina, Clipse and Deven the Dude headline KLUC-FM 98.5's "All-Star Hip Hop Jam IV" on Nov. 16 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets went on sale last week for $23, $33 and $48 at the box office, box office, East Tropicana Avenue and Swenson Street. Disturbed rocks the Hard Rock on Nov. 14. Tickets are $30. They go on sale at 3 p.m. today at the box office and through Ticketmaster.

Creed returns to the Thomas & Mack Center on Oct. 29 to perform a "fan-appreciation show." The band issued a news release claiming the concert is meant to make up for Creed's shortened, Oct. 4 concert, which was "plagued with vocal problems" because of the singer's acute laryngitis and viral infection at the time, according to the band's publicists. Creed tickets, $5, went on sale on Wednesday at the box office and at UNLVtickets.com outlets.

Rob Halford and Testament co-headline an all-ages show, with opening acts Exodus and Vio-Lence, on Dec. 29 at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 on the day of the show. They went on sale this week at the box office, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and through Ticketmaster. To charge by phone, call 632-7600.

The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay stage an all-ages, Oct. 31 "Hell-A-Billy Halloween 2002," featuring Big John Bates & the Voodoo Dollz, aka "The Bad Girls of Burlesque." Plus, the Spectres. Tickets are $20 and $25 the box office and through Ticketmaster.

Merle Haggard sings Nov. 2 at Texas Station. Tickets are $22.50, $28.50, $37.50 and $44.50 are on sale at the hotel's Boarding Pass Rewards Center, or charge by phone, 547-5300.
