PHOTO: Unexpected Landing

Bystanders look at the wreckage of a Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft that crashed about 8:30 p.m. Sunday next to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of North Rancho Drive across the street from the North Las Vegas Airport. The pilot, whose identity was not released, escaped serious injury and was listed in fair condition Monday at University Medical Center, said hospital spokeswoman Cheryl Persinger.
