They're out in the real world now, trying to cash in on their new fame.

Six cast members of "Real World" Las Vegas reunited on Tuesday night in the Palms suites to watch the finale of their highly rated MTV show shot in Las Vegas.

Alton and Irulan, who fell in love on the show, brought their 6-week-old bloodhound puppy, Duke.

Only Trishelle, who had a smoldering thing going with Steven, was missing. She is in Amsterdam, touring with Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew.

"That was over before the show was over," said Steven.

So what are they doing now?

Brynn is living in Portland, Ore., engaged to Austin, whom she met during the show. He popped the question Jan. 1 on Fremont Street.

Arissa is living in Las Vegas and dating an ex-Marine named "Rock," who is the personal bodyguard to Palms owner George Maloof. She's working on a demo for a hip-hop CD.

Irulan, who lives with Alton in Hollywood, is working on a record deal, too, and has a high-powered agent, ICM.

Steven and Frank are living in Los Angeles, as well. Frank is attending grad school at the University of Southern California. Steven hopes to get into radio. "He's too ugly for TV,'' needled Frank.

Meanwhile, Alton is keeping up with the war in Iraq. "I've got eight friends over there. San Diego (his hometown) is a ghost town."

He's supporting it, reluctantly. "We've had to fight wars before, but this isn't one of them. I think we could have done it differently."

The Scene and Heard

Fremont Street should be plenty safe this weekend when 800 pro wrestlers attend the annual Cauliflower Alley Club reunion. They'll be wrestling all three days at The Plaza.

Expected are Macho Man Randy Savage, Super Destroyer, The Hangman, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan, Percy Pringle (formerly "Paul Bearer" from the old WWF), Sir Oliver Humperdink, Killer Kowalski, Pat Patterson, Brett Hart, Angelo Savoldi, B. Brian Blair and others too intimidating to mention. ...

KLAS-TV, Channel 8 anchor Paula Francis is on "family leave" in Wisconsin, visiting family after the death of her father. Her colleague, weatherman Kevin Janison, lost his father late last month. Our condolences. ...

KMXB-FM radio listeners got a shock at 9 a.m. Tuesday when they learned the station had switched to a country western format. For all of an hour, that is. Then they were let in on the joke, an April Fools' joke. The tip-off should have been the first song played: Aaron Tippin's "There Ain't Nothing Wrong With the Radio." So many telephone calls came in that the system conked out. ...

Mike Tyson is co-hosting with Jimmy Kimmel this week on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and it's not easy to watch. Kimmel's attempt to interact with Tyson was so awkward you could hear Kimmel hyperventilating. Tyson did say he has more tattoos planned, but none anytime soon.

Sightings

Andre Agassi, fresh from winning his 57th tournament title, the Nasdaq-100 Open in Key Biscayne, Fla., on Sunday, celebrating with wife Steffi and son Jaden at Alize (Palms) on Tuesday night. ... Britney Spears, moving out of the "Real World" suites Tuesday so the "Real World" cast could move in. ... Jose Eber, famed hairdresser of Hollywood, at AMP, dropping in on former pupil Michael Boychuck, who operates Amp and Canyon Ranch salon at The Venetian ... Personalized Nevada license plates on a GMC pickup at the MGM Grand employees parking garage: TIPSRUS.

The Punch Line

"A celebrity is a person who works hard all his life to become known, then wears dark glasses to avoid being recognized." -- Fred Allen
