NORM: Jackson's vow heightens rumors

Sharon Osbourne makes confession.

Michael Jackson proclaims innocence in interview.

Michael Jackson's vow to never, ever live at Neverland Ranch again adds weight to rumors that he's house-hunting in Las Vegas.

During his Christmas night interview for CBS' "60 Minutes," Jackson said that because of the recent raid on Neverland, "I won't live there ever again. It's a house now. It's not a home anymore. I'll only visit."

Jackson, arrested last month on child molestation charges in California, proclaims his innocence in the interview, which airs tonight on KLAS-TV, Channel 8. It is his first interview since the arrest.

Jackson insiders say that the singer and his sister Janet are both considering moves to Las Vegas, where their parents, Joe and Katherine, have lived for more than 20 years.

`Rich and Famous' redux

Las Vegas resident Robin Leach returns to his "Rich and Famous" roots Monday when he hosts ABC's "Life of Luxury."

The one-hour special picks up where Leach left off in the mid-1990s, when he ended his 14-year run as host of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."

His interview subjects include Sharon Osbourne, confessing to $350,000 worth of plastic surgery and of the dark days when she weighed 240 pounds; Donald Trump, discussing his top-of-Manhattan apartment, 18 million square feet of New York City real estate, and extending his empire to Las Vegas; and Kimora Lee Simmons, the new millennium's Imelda Marcos.

Simmons, wife of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, shows off their 49,000-square-foot, 20 bedroom mansion, the world's largest collection of Louis Vuitton bags, 300 pairs of jeans, and so many shoes she has them cataloged on a computer.

"Those clipping coupons can take heart in that money definitely does not buy class," notes Zap2it.com.

The Scene and Heard

I hear the Siegfried & Roy Theatre at The Mirage will be emptied by mid-January. Everything that belongs to Siegfried & Roy and Kenneth Feld, the show's longtime producer, will be gone. Feb. 1 would have been the 14th anniversary of the duo's opening at The Mirage. ...

Alec Baldwin, who stars in "The Cooler," has an upcoming guest appearance on NBC's "Las Vegas." He plays an old friend of James Caan's character, Big Ed Deline. ...

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler found the sexy "Zumanity" usher uniforms so fetching he ordered 10 of them for his staff to wear at an after-concert party. And Jennifer Love Hewitt liked the look so much she bought two. ...

The Warner Bros. TV series "ElimiDate" will be shooting some of its all-star sweeps week shows at the Riviera pool in January. ...

Sheryl Crow shot the video for her new single, "The First Cut is the Deepest," at Valley of Fire State Park. The song just moved up to No. 9 on Billboard's adult contemporary chart. ...

I'm taking a couple days off, but we'll be back to offer a full menu of tidbits from the New Year's Eve scene, aka the world's largest gathering of souvenir drink glasses.

Sightings

Steven Bauer, who played opposite Al Pacino's Tony Montana in "Scarface" in 1983, getting hitched at the Tropicana on Saturday. His best man was longtime pal Bob Feldman, father of Corey Feldman. ... Actor Antonio Sabato Jr., at Rain (Palms) on Friday.
