Slot makers sign development deal
Mikohn Gaming Corp., a Las Vegas slot maker, entered a joint development agreement with Bally Gaming and Systems, a unit of Las Vegas slot maker Alliance Gaming Corp., to develop new wide-area progressive games.
Under the agreement, Mikohn will provide branded game content to run on Bally Gaming's S6000 platform, the companies said in a Monday statement. The games will then be incorporated into the Bally Gaming Thrillions linked progressive system. In addition, Mikohn will provide signs and electronics as part of a long-term purchasing agreement.
The companies said they will share net profits generated from the games. The agreement also allows both companies to receive certain patent benefits.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
