D.A. launches criminal probe
REVIEW-JOURNAL
The Clark County district attorney's office has launched a criminal investigation into allegations that a recently fired county employee financially benefited from contracts he supervised.
Armando Rodriguez-Dominguez was fired earlier this month amid allegations that he violated county ethics rules and state laws by not disclosing his relationship with the owner of two cleaning companies that did business with the county, a county source confirmed Monday.
Rodriguez-Dominguez could not be reached for comment.
According to county sources, over the past three years, the two companies in question received contracts in excess of $160,000.
