NEON SUNDAY: Resilient Debbie Reynolds plays The Orleans
"Unsinkable" has been a description increasingly more appropriate for Debbie Reynolds since she played "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" in 1964.
Those who were rooting for her ill-fated casino venture (now the Greek Isles) will be cheered that she's still buying movie memorabilia for the day she can reopen the Hollywood museum that once was part of the casino.
Reynolds relieved Planet Hollywood of $200,000 worth of memorabilia at a Sotheby's auction last month. You can help her defray expenses by attending her nightclub show at 8 p.m. today at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $38.50 to $49.50. Call 365-7075.
