George Strait to play January date at MGM Grand

George Strait performs Jan. 31 in an in-the-round set-up at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Openers are Dierks Bentley and Kellie Coffey. Prices are $50, $75 and $95. Strait fans can get numbered wristbands at the box office 6-9 a.m. Saturday. Then, a random number will be drawn, and fans will line up sequentially behind the person with that numbered wristband. Members of Strait's fan club can buy tickets before that, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. today through Ticketmaster.com.

Seal sings for the second anniversary of the opening of the Palms with a performance Nov. 16 at Rain in the Desert. Prices are $65 and $125.
