'World's Greatest Magic Show' to make its debut at Sahara
Making its debut at the Sahara on Wednesday, the "World's Greatest Magic Show" will then be performed Saturdays through Thursdays at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the Sahara theater.
In a variety-style format, the "World's Greatest Magic Show" will feature between eight to 10 different magicians who will each perform their best trick or illusion.
Performers scheduled to appear include Kevin James, Sylvester the Jester, Jason Byrne, The Majestix, Joseph Gabriel, Zieda Lavavootnish -- the Latvian Mistress of Magic, Billy Ferguson and Kenneth Harvard.
Illusions to be performed will include sleight-of-hand magic, tricks with exotic wild animals and the appearance of a full-sized Stealth fighter jet. Jeff Hobson will be master of ceremonies.
"We're excited to be able to bring this unique style of show to the Sahara," said Al Hummel, Sahara Hotel chief executive officer. "Our guests will receive a fast-paced, high-energy show that will defy all other magic shows."
The show is open to all ages. General admission tickets are $55.95 plus tax and ticket fee; V.I.P. seats (guaranteed seating in the first three rows) are $65.95 plus tax and ticket fee.
Tickets can be purchased at the Sahara box office by calling 737-2515 and online at www.saharavegas.com.
