Wild-child Paris Hilton made a scene at the premiere of "Zumanity," and that's only half the story.
Spies say the 21-year-old socialite stormed out of the Cirque du Soleil show at New York-New York with her sister Nicky after emcee Joey Arias supposedly insulted Paris.
The heiress sisters showed up at Light, the Bellagio nightclub, where Paris hit it off with Chicago Bears All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher. He was seen giving her a piggyback ride after she broke a shoe and enlisted his help, just like Cinderella.
Spies tell me Hilton was spotted leaving Las Vegas with Urlacher on Sunday on a flight to Chicago.
Red-carpet treatment
When Hugh Hefner shows up at your hotel for Playboy's 50th anniversary weekend, you don't just hand him the room key and leave chocolate on pillows.
The Palms enshrined the occasion by building a permanent suite to honor the pop culture icon.
A major renovation of the 2,200-square-foot suite included an 8-foot-long bed, Hef's signature red velvet bedcover, custom-made Italian sheets, a framed photo of the Playboy founder above the bed, plus his favorites: Jack Daniels Black Label, high-end stogies and Pepsi.
"And we named it the 'Hugh Hefner Suite,' " said Palms owner George Maloof.
The Palms learned Hef's reputation as a stickler for details is no myth.
Before Hefner dines out, his handlers routinely fax his dinner instructions to the restaurant of choice.
The instructions are always the same: three lamb chops on a warm plate bearing his HMH initials, 15 ounces of Le Sueur Early Peas, three 90-count size potatoes, two tomato slices "on a plate lined with lettuce," apple sauce and a glass of milk "on a paper napkin."
A hand-drawn map includes how Hef wants the place setting.
The Scene and Heard
The "Zumanity" after-show party atop the New York-New York parking lot ranks among the most expensive in Las Vegas history, with rumors that it cost between $600,000 and $ 1 million. "It was certainly the hardest because everything had to be lifted by the tallest crane in the U.S.," said Felix Rappaport, New York-New York honcho. The wild scene included performers dangling from the crane. ...
Amp and Canyon Ranch salon operator Michael Boychuck was summoned to Paris Hilton's room at the Paris Las Vegas on Saturday to provide her evening "do" for her red-carpet entrance at "Zumanity." A TV crew from "Oprah" was there to film it for a show on the Hilton sisters. ...
Just so you hear it here first, my Saturday night ended with me being booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, something of a shock to me since I thought I was being responsible. I have a Dec. 22 court appearance in Justice Court.
Sightings
Josh Hartnett and friend dining at Nobu (Hard Rock). ... Hefner, dining at the Rio's Voodoo Lounge on Saturday night with his blondes, after the 7:30 p.m. "Zumanity" show. Two of Hef's dates, Isabelle and Zhoey, being pulled on stage for the orgy scene in "Zumanity" Saturday night. When emcee Arias asked one of them how she was doing, she broke up the audience with, "I feel at home."
