'Hunting for Bambi' creator faces new charges by city

REVIEW-JOURNAL

Las Vegas has added to its charges against the entrepreneur behind the "Hunting For Bambi" video.

Michael Burdick now faces two counts of lying to a public officer and an additional count of doing business without a license because he is accused of setting up a Web site for a paid escort service. The charges were made public in a Las Vegas Municipal Court hearing Thursday.

"Hunting for Bambi" came to the attention of public officials when Burdick began falsely advertising last summer that men could "hunt" nude women with paint ball guns in the Southern Nevada desert.

Burdick sold videos of the hunts out of a northwest Las Vegas home he shared with Lakana Campbell, who he said was his fiancee.

Because he was not listed on the Las Vegas business license, Michael Burdick was accused of doing business without a license. He has pleaded innocent to the charge.
