NORM: Kournikova serves Iglesias a warning

Al Roker's segment on a Las Vegas truffle auction airs tonight on the Food Network.

Tennis goddess Anna Kournikova has served notice to on-again, off-again boyfriend Enrique Iglesias: Two can play the game.

After I reported here on Monday that Kournikova and actor Mark Wahlberg were seen holding hands at the Bellagio and leaving in a car at 4 a.m., spies provided this development: They spent Sunday night at the Palms "Real World" suite after showing up at the new Hart & Huntington Tattoo Salon at the Palms about 10 p.m.

They were seen leaving the Palms on Monday.

There's speculation that Kournikova is evening the score for reported recent infidelities of her beau Iglesias, who has a concert Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel.

In town for Light's celebrity-studded second anniversary, Kournikova arrived at Caramel, the Bellagio's sister club to Light, with Mickey Rourke but quickly hooked up with Wahlberg, who starred in "Boogie Nights."

Cowherd makes move

It's official: Former Las Vegas TV sportscaster Colin Cowherd is replacing Tony Kornheiser on ESPN Radio.

Cowherd, sports director at KVBC-TV, Channel 3 in the early 1990s and a member of the Las Vegas Stars radio team for three years, agreed to a four-year deal Monday, he said by telephone.

A multiple winner of the Nevada Sportscaster of the Year award while at KVBC, he moved to WTVT-TV in Tampa, Fla., and in 1996 became sports anchor at KGW-TV in Portland, Ore. He has been a radio talk-show host on Portland's KFXX for five years.

Cowherd, 40, and his family will move to ESPN headquarters in Connecticut, where he starts the solo-hosted show March 29. The show will air on ESPN's local affiliate, KBAD-AM 920, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

At KVBC, he was part of the station's resurgence, teaming with Dave Courvoisier, Gwen Castaldi, Sara Hoeveler, Jack Finn and Steve Eager.

"It was my first TV job, and it was a glorious time in my life," Cowherd said. "My best friends still live there. I recently purchased a place there, and it's probably where I'll retire."
