NORM: Kournikova visits wedding chapel

Bill Cosby writes about Clint and Brenda Holmes.

Goodman gets temporary ink.

Daniels to sing the national anthem.

Jolie seen dining with her son.

Guess who showed up at the Little White Chapel at 5 a.m. Sunday?

No, it wasn't Britney, returning to the scene.

Walking through the door was tennis babe Anna Kournikova with actor Mark Wahlberg, fresh from the Clark County marriage bureau.

They were definitely there for a wedding; just not theirs.

Wahlberg stood in as best man and Kournikova as bridesmaid for their friends, Henry Penzi and Erika Few, who had partied with Wahlberg and Kournikova at Light's second anniversary party on Saturday night.

Penzi, who was Carmen Electra's agent when she wed Dennis Rodman in their short-lived Las Vegas marriage in 1998, popped the question about 4 p.m. His wife is a Las Vegas speech pathologist who didn't have any trouble saying yes.

The inside story: Kournikova and Wahlberg have been dating for about a month, and planned their Las Vegas rendezvous. Her red-carpet arrival with Mickey Rourke was a ruse that several media types fell for hook, line and sinker.

What's her name

Bill Cosby has a hilarious chapter in his new offbeat book about his pals Clint and Brenda Holmes.

The title says it all: "I Am What I Ate...and I'm Frightened!!! And Other Digressions from the Doctor of Comedy."

One of those digressions has to do with his friendship with the Holmeses and his growing frustration when he can't remember Brenda's name.

The punch line comes not in the text, but in a cartoon at the end of the chapter. It shows Cosby bolting upright in bed, yelling "Brenda!" The expression on the face of his awakened wife says it all.

The Scene and Heard

Charlie Daniels will sing the national anthem at the Busch Series Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 6. Robin Leach will host Sunday's NASCAR pre-race show and introduce the starting field and VIPs. ...

Prince is headlining at Tiger Woods' Tiger Jam on May 29 at Mandalay Bay, the night before his tour stop which reportedly features his greatest hits, also at Mandalay Bay.

Sightings

Mayor Oscar Goodman, getting two temporary interlocking heart tattoos on the back of his hand (O.G. in one and C.G., his wife Carolyn's initials, in the other) at the grand opening of the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Salon at the Palms on Wednesday; Palms owner George Maloof got the real ink and went with an "SK" from the shield of the Sacramento Kings logo after a coin flip between that or the Palms. ... Also getting tattoos: Jaime Pressly and skateboarder Tony Hawk. ... Angelina Jolie, in the buffet at Mandalay Bay with her son, Maddox, on Monday. ... Rapper Eminem, chowing down with an entourage of 20 at Texas Station's Feast Around the World buffet about 8 p.m. Tuesday in front of MTV cameras. ... Pamela Anderson, abruptly ending an MSNBC interview on Tuesday that she thought was going to be a promotion for her cruelty-free line of shoes, but took an edgier direction than what she expected. ... At the weekend celebration of Fitzgerald's second anniversary party: Isaac Hayes, Richard Roundtree, Kim Fields of "Facts of Life," Kim Whitley of "Sparks" and "Sesame Street," and Olivia Brown of "Miami Vice."... People magazine's March 1 issue has a photo of Britney Spears holding the self-help book "Listening to Prozac" while exiting a vehicle recently in Hollywood.

The Punch Line

"The New York tabloids say there may be some friction between (Alex) Rodriguez and (Derek) Jeter. But listen to this. The San Francisco Giants have a very, very different problem. I was stunned when I heard this. Their shortstop and their third baseman got married." -- David Letterman
