Annual talent contest scheduled

The Cultural Affairs Division of the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services presents the 25th annual Search for Talent Showcase at 7 p.m. March 27 in the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Admission is $5. Call 229-6211 for information.

The program includes vocalists Malia Civetz and Bridget Maher, pianist Jack Ault and dancer Brianna Yee in the primary (ages 6-9) division; dancers Rusne Kuzmickas and Katia Brim, vocalist/pianist Barry Fortgang and vocalist Monique Carrera in the junior (ages 10-14) division; and vocalists Stephanie Smith and Christina de Chavez, pianist Micha Lin, dancer Celina Chiscolm and vocal trio Marchella Jackson, Raina Sanchez and Karla Sanchez in the senior (ages 15-18) division.
