Daily Opinion Cartoon

EDITORIAL: Steve Ross for City Council
Small businessman Steve Ross, a former Democratic Party official long active in his church, in Boy Scouts and as a Little League coach, says, "I'm a small businessman who knows what it means to meet a payroll, to live within a budget." He contrasts that experience with Mary Gillins, his opponent for the Ward 6 City Council seat being vacated by Michael Mack, saying, "She does not. She works for a public employees' union."

EDITORIAL: Reason vs. hysteria
If Nevadans wanted an accurate, abridged version of the Senate's debate over filibusters and judicial nominations, they needed only to watch their two senators on Wednesday.
