Artists to give gallery talk Nov. 12

Artists with works on display at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center will present a gallery talk from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at the center.

Dayo Adelaja, Harold Bradford, Sylvester Collier, Adolfo Gonzalez and Vicki Richardson will discuss the motivation behind their individual pieces and how their works relate to the oral histories that have been collected for this centennial year.

The "Keepers of the Flame" exhibition is on display through Nov. 27 at the center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
