Wayne Newton will sleigh 'em in his new show at the Flamingo.
No one's confirming (or denying) my story earlier this month about Newton's move to the Flamingo, but I'm told the master plan goes like this:

j The announcement for a Nov. 24 soft opening will be made in early November, probably next week.
j He will appear in a Christmas/holiday show during November and December, with a sleigh and penguins, similar to his Branson production.
j His regular show will run from January to April, with a Harrah's Treasure Hunt promotion concluding with a $1 million prize for the person who figures out the clues.
CELINE EYES SECOND CHILD
CAESARS PALACE HEADLINER Celine Dion is planning for a second child at the end of her Las Vegas run. Dion, whose 4-year deal expires in early 2007, told Tele 7 Jours, a French entertainment magazine, "I'm approaching 40 years old, and I have to tend to that."
Her son, Rene-Charles, was born in January 2001 after in vitro fertilization. The frozen embryo of her second child awaits in storage at a New York clinic.
THE SCENE AND HEARD
Nancy Sinatra e-mailed to comment on a sighting in this space Tuesday that stated her daughter, Megan, and Frank Sinatra Jr.'s daughter, Juli, were in the B Bar at Wynn Las Vegas. "I do not have a daughter named Megan and my brother does not have a daughter named Juli," wrote Sinatra. According to my spies, it's not the first time Megan and Juli, two locals, have identified themselves as members of the Sinatra family. They are regulars at the tony Stirling Club at Turnberry Place. ...
The plot thickens: Executives of the new show "Love is a Pain," which opens Dec. 26 at the Riviera, FYI, met with drag queen Kenny Kerr last Saturday and offered him a starring role. According to Marvin Lashever, the show's general manager, Kerr indicated he was in negotiations with another project and could not make a commitment for at least another two weeks. Kerr is reportedly at the top of the list to replace Frank Marino in "An Evening at La Cage" if his feud with "La Cage" producer Norbert Aleman ends in a legal split. ...
Magic rivals David Copperfield and Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller are trading insults again. This time, Jillette, is hitting below, umm, the belt. Reacting to Copperfield's plan to make a female audience member pregnant on stage "without sex," Jillette noted, "The only way Copperfield can reproduce is with a cheesy magic act." Copperfield countered, "If his reputation were as big as his gut, he wouldn't need to include me in his press release." With Jillette soon to host a one-hour live radio show on KSFN-AM 1140, stay tuned.
