NORM: 'Hello,' goodbye after four months

Oscar winner Renee Zellweger and country star Kenny Chesney have filed for an annulment of their 4-month-old marriage that included a Las Vegas honeymoon.

They were married in May on a beach on St. John island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, four months after meeting at a Concert of Hope tsunami relief event.

That same week, they showed up in Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards show at Mandalay Bay. Afterward, they were spotted hamming it up at the RCA party at Cili. While standing in a food line, Chesney began "air drumming" at his new bride with skewered chicken. Zellweger grabbed a skewer and started a Zorro-esque sword fight.

For the next two weeks they were seen out on the town.

Chesney reportedly got the inspiration for his 1999 hit "You Had Me From Hello" from Zellweger's famous line to Tom Cruise's character in the movie "Jerry Maguire."

Transplanted talent

Temporarily homeless a week ago, 17-year-old Sarah Todora of New Orleans may be finding a home very quickly for her talented voice.

By Saturday, Sarah, a regular in the French Quarter, will have performed four times in front of Las Vegas crowds.

She and her father, Phil Todora, who represents several French Quarter jazz groups, left for Las Vegas a day before Hurricane Katrina hit.

An introduction to local entertainer Jerry Tiffe has led to numerous singing opportunities for the rising rhythm-and-blues star, who was the featured artist at a party for Louisiana legislators in Washington. She'll join Tiffe today between 4 and 7 p.m., and she's appearing at Capozzoli's, 3333 S. Maryland Parkway, about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

"We're here and we're staying here, taking it a day at a time," said her father, who found a temporary home through the generosity of a local couple.
