Celine Dion will mark her 500th performance of "A New Day" on May 7 by donating all proceeds from the anniversary show to The Celine Dion Foundation to benefit 10 Las Vegas charities.

Specially priced tickets are on sale for the performance by calling (877) 423-5463 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at the Caesars Palace box office.

A selection committee of 10 business and community leaders volunteered to help with the process of selecting 10 organizations to benefit from the event.

Recipients include Aid for AIDS of Nevada, the oldest and largest AIDS service organization in the state; The Animal Foundation; Center For Independent Living; Foundation For an Independent Tomorrow; I Have A Dream Foundation; Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth; New Vista Ranch; Project REACH; Project Sunshine of Nevada; and the Rape Crisis Center.

"The people of Las Vegas have been so good to us since we moved here," said Dion. "By dedicating this special show to local charities and contributing to their efforts to help the community, it gives us a chance to say thank you in a very meaningful way. We're hoping to raise a million dollars on May 7, for these great organizations."

All guests in attendance will receive a commemorative souvenir and the chance to win special prizes.
