A 14-year-old victim of a fatal shooting at the Sierra Vista Square Apartments Monday morning has been identified as Jason Bright of Las Vegas.

Bright was shot six times by an unidentified man at 6:09 a.m. in the north parking lot of the complex, located at 920 Sierra Vista Drive, near Swenson Street.
Bright was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds at 6:45 a.m. at Sunrise Hospital, according to the coroner's office.
Las Vegas police say a concerned neighbor took video of a suspect leaving the scene in a white T-shirt and gray shorts. Lt. Lew Roberts, head of the Las Vegas police homicide detail, said he hopes the video will lead to an identification of the suspect.
Police and friends of the victim say they have no idea why Bright, who was known as "Toby" or "Casper" to his friends, was meeting with the suspect in the morning.
