PLAYER'S EDGE: South Coast offering daily players club promotions

The South Coast is running a different promotion every weekday this month. On Mondays, Club Coast members earning 2,000 points ($2,000 coin-out) will receive 1,000 additional points (only once per day.) Use your points on Tuesdays to purchase meals, and they are worth double the usual cash value. Wednesdays is double points day. On Thursdays, members purchasing a Garden Buffet with their points will earn a second buffet free. And on Fridays, a random slot player will win $100 in instant credits every 30 minutes, and the club members sitting to his immediate left and right will get $50 in instant credits.

The Las Vegas Hilton's players club is now part of the Resorts Destination Club (the mega-club of parent organization Resorts International). Besides cashback and comps, members now earn Destiny Dollars, which are comp dollars that can be redeemed at any Resorts International property (including Resorts Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Hilton), except at the property where they were earned. Although there have been no other changes to the club (including the current Hotspot program that gives locals discounts on meals and entertainment), all members will have to pick up a new card.

Club Uno members earning 1,000 points ($1,000 coin-in, no point redemption required) during August can pick up a Casino MonteLago football jersey beginning Aug. 27.

Sam's Town bingo players will receive a "mystery gift" on Thursday and a hairbrush/mirror set plus an eyeglass holder on Aug. 22. On Sunday, the Fiesta Henderson will give away a bathroom soap rest to all bingo players.

The Wild Wild West is giving away a boat (along with 10 other prizes) on Aug. 26. Wild Card members receive one entry with every 500 points ($500 coin-in).

Every time an ace is dealt to a blackjack player at the Vegas Club, the player will receive a special token. Collect five tokens and redeem them for a $5 non-negotiable chip that must be played on the next hand. This promotion also covers (with variations) aces on Pai Gow Poker and Texas hold'em, so see the pit for complete details. You must be a member of the Player's Club to participate.
