A Motor Vehicle Accident Victim Support Group meets a 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Integrated Healthcare of Nevada, 4517 W. Sahara Ave. (252-7246).

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), a support group for parents and gay children, will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at MCC Las Vegas, 1140 Almond Tree Lane, No. 302. Author Marc Adams will be the guest speaker (438-7838).

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada meets the first Tuesday of each month at various times and locations (796-0430).

Village Oaks Las Vegas, 3025 E. Russell Road, offers a family support group at 10:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. The group discusses caregiving dilemmas, provides emotional support and exchanges coping skills (451-7896).

Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 S. Swenson St., offers a Children's Grief and Loss Support Group for ages 9 to 12 at 5 p.m. Tuesdays. A Teen's Grief and Loss Support Group for ages 13 to 18 is offered at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the same location (796-3167).

Introduction to Al-Anon for Newcomers meets at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays followed by Al-Anon Morning Glories at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 43 W. Pacific Ave., Henderson (436-0825).

The Summerlin Nooners Support Group for Families and Friends of Alcoholics meets at noon Tuesdays at Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 Pavilion Center Drive (243-6417 or 341-6729).

The transgender support and advocacy group, an open support group for all transpersons and significant others, meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the cafeteria at Desert Springs Hospital, 2075 E. Flamingo Road. There is no charge (392-2132).

A hepatitis C therapeutic support group meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Community Counseling Center, 1120 Almond Tree Lane. Meetings are open to those affected by the disease, their families and friends (369-8700).

Nevada Children's Center offers a free adoption support group for parents who have adopted or who are in the process of adopting children. The group meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (736-8100).

The following support and recovery groups meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson: anger management support group; divorce care; female survivors of childhood sexual abuse; Addicted to Hope; depression/bipolar; Grief Share; PRISM weight loss program; Transitions, for women who have left a verbally, mentally, emotionally or physically abusive relationship; and depression and bipolar disorder support group (735-4004, ext. 8302).

The Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence hosts the Resolve Through Sharing Pregnancy Loss Support Group at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 100 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 330, Henderson (616-4900).

The East Las Vegas Area of Narcotics Anonymous has weekly support group meetings at various times and locations (898-8111).

A 12-step program for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints members and their familes is offered Mondays through Fridays at various locations (896-5650).

Gamblers Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily at 12 Steps for Living, 21 Army St., Henderson (385-7732).

The Henderson chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance meets at various times and days throughout the month (251-3272 or 860-6950).

Nevada Tobacco User's Helpline offers group counseling for those who want to quit tobacco use (877-0684).

The From Ashes to Beauty program for women who are or have been in an emotionally, verbally or physically abusive relationship, meets at New Horizons Christian Church, 3085 Raven Ave. (614-6045).

The Better Breathers Club, sponsored by the American Lung Association for people with lung disease and their family and friends, meets at several locations (431-6333).

The Caregiver Support Project offers a weekly support group for high-functioning individuals with dementia and a support group for caregivers of dementia patients at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, 1707 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 200 (671-5073).

Chapter 277 of Mended Hearts Inc. is a support group for people who have had heart disease and their families (869-9531).

Compulsive Eaters Anonymous-HOW, a program for anyone suffering from compulsive eating, anorexia or bulimia, offers support group meetings (458-4271).

The Society of Widowed Persons of Southern Nevada has monthly meetings (645-5802).

Recovery Inc., a self-help support group for those 18 years and older with overwhelming stress, anger, guilt, fear, anxiety or depression, meets weekly at three locations (696-0050).

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers free support groups for those learning to live with blood cancer (436-4220).
