The next chapter in Britney Spears' friendship with Jason Alexander promises to be rocky, if reports in a British newspaper about his new tell-all book prove true.
Cirque du Soleil's upcoming Elvis spectacular won't have an Elvis impersonator in the building.
"That's certainly not where we're going to go," according to Gilles Ste. Croix, creative vice president of the Montreal-based entertainment giant.

The permanent production, a collaboration of Cirque and Elvis Presley Enterprises, opens in 2009 at the mammoth 66-acre CityCenter being built by MGM Mirage.
Cirque approached The Beatles' show "Love," which opened in June at The Mirage, in the same way: no look-alikes, no impersonators.
"When people think of The Beatles, they think of the (Fab Four) and the copies that exist around the world, the tours, and that's what people expected," Ste. Croix told Flo Rogers, KNPR's assistant general manager, during an interview that aired Thursday.
Instead of Beatles impersonators, the closest thing to the Fab Four in "Love" is a shadow projection scene.
BAD NEWS FOR BRIT
As if she doesn't have enough fires to put out on the public relations front, Britney Spears soon will be dealing with a tell-all book about her quickie wedding in Las Vegas.
Her Louisiana childhood pal, Jason Alexander, dropped some teasers in an interview with the British newspaper, The Sun.
Spears had a tummy tuck shortly after having her second child in September, and she knew she had to dump Kevin Federline to have any chance of making a comeback, Alexander said.
The book "focuses on all the stuff that no one knows," he said. "It's about the marriage, my friendship with Britney and all the lines in between."
Spears knows about the book and "it will upset her," he said, especially "our sex life."
Spears and Alexander were married for 55 hours in early January 2003 after a wild weekend at the Palms hotel-casino.
