NORM: Grammy nominee Pink has big year

David Hasselhoff is getting more than an acting job out of "The Producers."

Ne-Yo takes time for toy drive on a day he was nominated for two Grammy awards.

Pink, who married motocross legend Carey Hart this year, was nominated Thursday for a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

A monster year for celebrity couple recording artist Pink and her husband, motocross legend Carey Hart, soared even higher Thursday.

Two-time Grammy winner Pink was nominated for a third on Thursday, this time for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

She was nominated for "Stupid Girls," from her "I'm Not Dead" album.

Her Grammy nomination capped a year that included getting married, being chosen to sing the theme song for "NBC Sunday Night Football," doing a European tour and signing a 2007 tour deal with Justin Timberlake.

The Grammy news "was the silver lining to a rough day," said Hart, who received an e-mail from Pink after she finished her show overseas.

"She strained her back. Then she found out (about the Grammy) right after the show," Hart said in a telephone interview from Cabo San Lucas, where he is opening a second Hart & Huntington Tattoo shop.

It's been banner year all the way around for the couple.

Hart returned to the X Games for the first time since his horrendous, career-threatening motocross accident three years ago.

"It's pretty ironic that you can watch 'Sunday Night Football' and she's doing the intro and I did the Miller Lite 'man law' commercials," he said.

Pink won her first Grammy for her collaboration on "Lady Marmalade" with Christina Aguilera, Mya and Lil' Kim. Last year, Pink walked away with the Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

THE SCENE AND HEARD

During an interview this week, David Hasselhoff let slip that he has more than a role in "The Producers." He has a percentage. "I'm not at liberty to talk about this, because I haven't discussed whether I should be talking about it," he told "The Strip" podcasters Steve Friess and Miles Smith (www.thestrippodcast. com). But, he added, "I don't do anything unless I own a piece of it." Mel Brooks is bringing the show to the Paris Las Vegas next month, with Hasselhoff, the former "Baywatch" hunk, playing flamboyant director Roger DeBris. "The Producers" opens Jan. 31, with media and VIP openings Feb 8-9. ...
