Female bodybuilder returns to LV

REVIEW-JOURNAL

Kelly Ryan, half of the husband-and-wife bodybuilding team charged in the slaying of a personal assistant, was returned to Las Vegas Thursday.

A private extradition company brought Ryan to Nevada from Massachusetts, where she and her husband, Craig Titus, were arrested last month in connection with the slaying of 28-year-old Melissa James.

Ryan, 33, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of accessory to murder and arson. Titus, 41, has been charged with murder.

She faces a Jan. 31 hearing for review of her arrest warrant.

Authorities found James' body Dec. 14 in the trunk of Ryan's Jaguar, which had been torched and abandoned in the desert south of Las Vegas. She had been strangled.

Titus and Ryan disappeared a few days later and weren't seen until their arrest in the Boston suburb of Canton, Mass.
