About 20 people were arrested Saturday night after a brawl at the Hawaiian Marketplace on the Strip, Las Vegas police said.
Officers responded to the melee at 3743 Las Vegas Blvd. South near Harmon Avenue about 10:15 p.m. and tried to stop the fights. Instead, they found themselves under attack, said police Capt. David O'Leary.

Then, about 80 officers responded to the scene and quickly restored order, police said.
The incident prompted police to close a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South for about 50 minutes, police said.
Those arrested face charges ranging from disorderly conduct to battery on a police officer, police said.
Four police officers were treated for minor injuries at area hospitals and were released.
Police said some of the combatants had been drinking before the fighting broke out.
