NORM: Pamela, Kid Rock finally to marry

A July 29 wedding for Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson is planned in St. Tropez, France.

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock are getting married, more than four years after he proposed to her in the desert near Primm.

The "Stacked" star announced the development on her Web site, without identifying Kid Rock, but her publicist confirmed to several published reports that a July 29 wedding is planned in St. Tropez, France.

"It's been a whirlwind," wrote Anderson, who is in France with the rock star. "Spontaneous but well-thought through. I feel like I'm finally free ... I'm in love. I'm happy ... I see the light ... sounds dramatic but it's true."

In April 2002, Kid Rock rented a 1961 pink Cadillac and had his pal, recording artist Uncle Kracker, dressed as Elvis, deliver the ring.

The Caddy blew up on the way home back from Primm, but the romance stayed intact.

BEACHER SUES

Jeff Beacher, producer of the quirky "Beacher's Madhouse," has filed a cease and desist order against NBC's hit series "America's Got Talent."

Beacher announced the court action Tuesday at a news conference at the Hard Rock Hotel, home of the "Madhouse" since 2003.

In the court document, Beacher claims the Simon Cowell-produced show won't allow "Madhouse" star Leonid the Magnificent to perform for Beacher, breaching an agreement.

Beacher alleges he agreed to provide the Russian sword-balancing act to the NBC show based on "mutual promises and benefits."

Her Bentley Bay deal in Miami fell through, followed by the Ivana Las Vegas project, which never got off the ground.

Her latest, a masterpiece of bad timing, is probably rubble by now: she was involved in a project in war-torn Beirut, Lebanon.
