Henderson police are seeking the public's assistance in finding a man they believe shot two people early Wednesday at a Henderson apartment complex.
A 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were shot by a man with a handgun about 12:35 a.m. after an argument that started in apartment 1312 at the Montego Bay complex, 1050 Whitney Ranch Drive, near Russell Road and Highway 95.

Police went door to door through the complex late into the morning but could not find the gunman, police said. The man is believed to have fled the area on foot, police said.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, and the 31-year-old was taken to University Medical Center. The victims were not identified by police, and their conditions were not available late Wednesday.
Police did not recover a gun at the scene and would not say what the argument was about.
Police provided a photo of the suspect but did not release the man's name, saying the name he had been using was a false one. They ask that anyone who knows the man's identity or whereabouts call 267-5000. Anyone who sees the man should call 911, police said.
