Court documents state Almeida and Chait signed a three-way partnership with Lohan's mother in 2002.
Almeida and Chait contend that they helped the young actress cut half an album with Emilio Estefan, husband of recording artist Gloria Estefan, in 2002 and 2003.
Two years ago, Dina Lohan signed a second deal with Tommy Mottola's Casablanca Records, according to court papers.
She was loaned tens of thousands by Almeida and Chait, only to have Lindsay Lohan, who starred in "Mean Girls," jump ship and record the album "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" for Mottola.
THE SCENE AND HEARD
Celine Dion's wax twin was unveiled Sunday in the lobby at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace before her 500th performance there. It marked the first time the famed Grevin Wax Museum of Paris dedicated a wax statue on U.S. soil. Dion's likeness is wearing the same dress she wore when she sang the Grammy- and Oscar-winning "My Heart Will Go On," the "Titanic" theme song, at the 1998 Academy Awards.
