Criss Angel on Monday revealed three stunts he plans to perform for the May 21 opening episode of the third season of "Mindfreak" on the Arts & Entertainment network.
Illusionist Criss Angel looks at the Luxor beam and sees the ultimate spotlight.
Angel announced on Monday he plans to levitate in the beam above the 400-foot-high, pyramid-shaped hotel for the May 21 opening episode of the third season of "Mindfreak," the top-rated show on the Arts & Entertainment cable network.

Angel, who is joining forces with Cirque du Soleil for a headliner show at the Luxor in early 2008, also revealed two other stunts for the A&E show: In one he will make most of the local magicians disappear, and in another he will vanish while driving a black, gulf-winged Lamborghini between 150 and 180 mph.
He told reporters part of his levitation stunt in the opening episode will be aired live.
Angel's announcement came during the filming of his first episode. He drove the Lamborghini to the Luxor's front entrance, where more than 1,000 onlookers gathered for the shoot.
He was greeted by Luxor President Felix Rappaport, who told Angel the powerful beam and the Great Wall of China are the only two man-made creations that can be seen from outer space.
DENVER DOINGS
Under a full moon, I was back on Denver's 16th Street mall last week, checking out one of the coolest venues you'll ever see.
Imagine an intimate showroom beneath The Venetian's campanile, and you'll have Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret.
It's located in the basement of the Daniels & Fisher Tower, a downsized version of Venice's iconic campanile in St. Mark's Square
My megatalented pal Lannie Garrett, best known for her long-running Patsy DeCline spoof, took over the 140-seat room a year ago as the home for her shows and other top acts.
On Friday, I took in her "Under Paris Skies," and on Saturday I couldn't resist "The Velvet Elvis," a local named Chris Barber who not only sounds like The King but couldn't resemble him more.
Both drew a full house, and I'd give 'em both two thumbs up.
During the National Finals Rodeo, Garrett has been scouting for a Las Vegas room for her Patsy show. It's a hilarious hoot and a perfect NFR fit.
THE SCENE AND HEARD
It's D-Day for the Maloof family in Sacramento, Calif., where voters are deciding whether to approve a new arena for the Maloofs' NBA Kings. The hot rumor making the rounds has the Kings heading for Anaheim, Calif., and the 17,174-seat Arrowhead Pond if the arena referendums in Sacramento are shot down, as expected.
