PLAYER'S EDGE: Gold Coast celebrating 20 years with prizes

The Gold Coast is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week with a "Pick A Prize" giveaway. Twice a day (2 p.m. and 8 p.m.) through Tuesday, the casino will select 10 winners to choose a present containing a cash prize from $500 to $5,000. Players can earn drawing tickets playing slots, video poker, tables, or at the race and sports book, and must be present at the drawings to win.

At 8:15 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through Dec. 16, the Fiesta Henderson will draw 10 names (who must be present) to toss a beanbag into a Skee-Ball Board and win prizes ranging from $100-$1,000. Tickets can be earned throughout the casino.

During the "Scratch Card Mania" at Fiesta Rancho, Amigo Club members receive a two-part scratch card for every 250 points ($250-$500 coin-in, no point redemption required). Part one of the card is for an instant prize of cash, food or merchandise while part two is a letter game. Players collecting all the letters needed to spell F-I-E-S-T-A will win $100. The casino is also giving out ARCO gasoline cards on Tuesdays. Players get one card for every 1,000 points up to a maximum of five cards.

Sunset Station also has a scratch card promotion. Beginning today and running through Dec. 2, Boarding Pass members will receive a scratch card for every 500 points earned ($500-$1,000 coin-in, no point redemption required). Every card is an instant winner and prizes include cash up to $1,000, table game match play, mystery gifts, and up to 100,000 Boarding Pass points.

Earn 150 Reward Credits ($750 slots, $1,500 video poker, no point redemption required) within 24 hours at Caesars Palace through Nov. 24 and you can pick up a complimentary umbrella. Beginning Nov. 25, you can earn a denim shirt the same way.

Earn 200 points ($2,000 coin-in, no point redemption required) within 24 hours at the Imperial Palace through Nov. 24 and you can pick up a complimentary desk clock with mirror and photo holder.
