1954 -- Tony Cornero organizes the Stardust Co.
1955 -- Cornero dies. Stardust operation taken over by John Factor and his wife.

1955 -- Royal Nevada opens and closes, eventually to be absorbed by the Stardust.
1958 -- Stardust opens. It is leased and operated by a company headed by Morris "Moe" Dalitz.
1958 -- The "Lido de Paris" show opens.
1959 -- Old Royal Nevada buildings are converted to Stardust guest rooms and the Stardust Convention Center.
1960 -- Aku Aku Polynesian restaurant opens.

1983 -- The Boyd Group assumes management of Stardust at request of Nevada Gaming Control Board.
1985 -- Boyd Gaming Corp. buys the Stardust.
1986 -- International Gaming Technology introduces new Megabucks slot system at Stardust.
1987 -- William B's restaurant opens.
1987 -- Olde Tyme Gambling Museum opens at Stardust.
1988 -- Boyd Gaming completes $50 million expansion and renovation.
1991 -- Tres Lobos Mexican restaurant opens.
