District Court Judge Douglas Herndon said he plans to announce a decision Tuesday on whether Clark County Recorder Frances Deane should be removed from office.

The district attorney's office is seeking Deane's removal after she was criminally charged with accepting $36,000 in bribes in exchange for giving two businessmen exclusive access to county records.
Deane has denied any wrongdoing.
Herndon said he will review more than 500 pages of transcripts from Deane's preliminary hearing in July and also consider testimony from two detectives who were in his court Thursday before making a decision.
