The producers of "Riverdance" and horror film creator Wes Craven are pitching a horror magic show in Las Vegas, according to a published report.
Dublin producers John McColgan and Moya Doherty have talked to a major venue in Las Vegas about bringing the mixture of magic and horror, called "Magick Macabre," here by 2008 or 2009.
In March, Craven, the creator and director of horror classics "The Hills Have Eyes," "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Scream," made it clear he was sticking with his strength in writing a story for the show.
"Lots of people die, and blood will fly," he told a trade publication.
The show, possibly featuring an Irish magician, would be Craven's first work for stage.
