As part of the Helldorado Days 2007 celebration, a Golf Shootout will take place May 2 at Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive.

The tournament will begin with registration at 6 a.m. followed by a 7:30 shotgun start. A foursome is $500, or individual spots are available for $125, with proceeds benefiting University Medical Center's Trauma Center and the Elks Youth Scholarship Fund.

Helldorado Days is a celebration of Las Vegas' Wild West roots. Founded in 1934 by civic leaders and The Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 1468, Helldorado Days features numerous celebrations and events including a trail ride through Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, an art show and auction, a poker tournament, a carnival and western village, and an evening parade in downtown Las Vegas on May 19.
