NORM: Beatles classic honors Idle's 64th

Lisa O'Hurley shows off her one-of-a-kind Spam purse while her husband, John O'Hurley, who stars in "Monty Python's Spamalot" at Wynn Las Vegas, holds their 4-month-old son, William, during the "Spamalot" premiere on Saturday.

Eric Idle, creator of "Monty Python's Spamalot," had a musical request at the "Spamalot" premiere after-party Saturday at Wynn Las Vegas.

Deejay Jarred Nichols was asked to play "When I'm Sixty-Four," the Beatles' 1967 song, in honor of Idle's 64th birthday, which was Thursday.

Idle, who was born during the height of World War II in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England, said he recalled "the bombings, more particularly, the air raid sirens. I had a Mickey Mouse gas mask," he said by telephone, "which has given me a lifelong fear of Disneyland and rubber and left me sexually stunted."

On a night of special touches, Idle and fellow Pythons John Cleese and Terry Gilliam ended the premiere by leading the crowd in a rendition of "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life."

Earlier, on the red carpet, Lisa O'Hurley, the wife of "Spamalot" lead John O'Hurley, unveiled a one-of-a-kind Spam purse, featuring colored lights. The purse was the handiwork of "Spamalot" wardrobe director Michael Steepin. The O'Hurleys also brought their infant son, William, who was dressed as a miniature king.

THE SCENE AND HEARD

Michael Jackson's spokeswoman, Raymone Bain, tells TMZ.com that the invitation to a so-called Jackson world tour kickoff party at the Luxor on June 10 was "a fraud." Local food and beverage publisher Michael Politz was apparently duped after someone provided him with the bogus invitation, which he sent to TMZ.com and posted on his newsletter Web site without verifying the information.
