Geoffrey Wells will head to District Court on charges of attacking bailiffs during a Family Court melee last month.
Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Nancy Oesterle on Thursday ruled that Wells should face trial on four counts of battery on a police officer and one count of battery by a prisoner.

Three Family Court bailiffs testified Tuesday at a preliminary hearing in the case. Oesterle delayed her decision until Thursday to consider the public defender's request to dismiss two of the charges.
Wells, 36, snapped at his divorce trial on Dec. 14 and attacked bailiff Norm Adams as he tried to handcuff Wells after Wells had shouted at Family Court Judge Cheryl Moss.
The judge had planned to put Wells in jail for two days for contempt of court for violating her order to lock up the guns around his house. He never complied, and his 12-year-old son committed suicide with one of the guns.
Wells continued to fight and swing wildly at several bailiffs before they could subdue him.
He also kicked a bailiff after being escorted from the courtroom in handcuffs, authorities said.
