SHOOTING STARS:
'Thirteen'
returns for
pick-up
shots
The tide rolls into Las Vegas once more, as "Ocean's Thirteen" schedules additional pick-up shots this weekend at Bellagio and Mandalay Bay, featuring Andy Garcia (as deposed casino chief Terry Benedict) and French actor Vincent Cassel (back as the fiendishly clever Night Fox, who made life miserable for the Ocean crew in 2004's "Ocean's Twelve").
It's the fifth Las Vegas location stint for the second sequel to 2001's "Ocean's Eleven," which Warner Bros. is slated to release June 8.

The lucky "Thirteen" first filmed here in August and September, returning for additional scenes in October and December -- after principal production concluded.
Magic time: Cameras keep rolling at the Luxor for A&E's "Criss Angel: Mindfreak," which continues through March.
The pyramid provides the backdrop for Monday, Wednesday and Friday shoots, but this week's schedule also includes a visit to the castle next door: Excalibur.
Angel's not the only illusionist in action, however.
Last Friday, Nathan Burton -- who stars in "Comedy Magic" at the V Theater in the Aladdin's Desert Passage -- hosted "Magic With the Stars," a pilot for cable's E! channel.
Inspired by "Dancing With the Stars," this version featured Poison's CC Deville and Baywatch's" Tracy Bingham competing as they performed tricks.
Burton, who previously appeared on "America's Got Talent" and "The Entertainer," expects this show to go into production "very quickly" -- because other cable networks are also developing similar shows.
Revving up: Las Vegas-based Maxxam Entertainment's "CarWorld With Skip Carr" rolls on, with Maxxam co-founder Skip Burrows (alias Skip Carr) filming at 17 (count 'em, 17) private area locations this week.
Devoted to motor sports and viewers' car-building questions, "CarWorld" already has filmed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sam Boyd Stadium and several Southern California locations since its mid-December start.
"Scope"-ing out Vegas: The Irish science series "Scope," currently in its fourth season, visits Las Vegas for a pair of episodes, reports Kathriona Devereux of Stop.Watch Television, which produces the show for RTE, Ireland's national broadcaster.
One episode focuses on the annual International Consumer Electronics Show, which begins a four-day run today at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Las Vegas Hilton and The Venetian's Sands Expo and Convention Center.
The other episode, devoted to "The Science of Vegas," explores casino and production show technology. Scheduled locations include the Strip and the iconic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.
