At 8 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through Feb. 10, the Silverton is drawing 10 tickets for cash prizes up to $250,000. The first nine tickets win prizes ranging from $300 to $1,000. The guest redeeming the 10th ticket drawn will select one of 100 "sunken treasure" bags located at the bottom of the casino's 117,000-gallon aquarium and win (after the mermaid inside the tank checks the amount) between $20,000 and $250,000. Before the promotion starts, the Silverton will host several audience participation events that award guests $100 gift certificates to Mi Casa Grill Cantina, Twin Creeks Steakhouse and up to $250 in free-play. Discovery Club members automatically receive 10 free tickets per day when they swipe their card, and they can earn additional entries playing slots, video poker, keno, live poker or at the tables

There are several changes to the Ultimate Rewards Club at Arizona Charlie's Boulder and Arizona Charlie's Decatur. Effective Monday, Ultimate Rewards will become A.C.E. Rewards, and the casinos will stop offering "Action Cash" in favor of a new cashback program. At both Arizona Charlie's, as well as the Stratosphere and the Aquarius in Laughlin, members will earn one point for every $1 on slots, $2 on video poker and $8 on 100 percent video poker. Every 600 points will equal $1 cashback. According to information given at the booth, active players also will receive a weekly mailer with additional cashback and food comps. It will be interesting to see how this new setup goes over, especially for players who were earning $250 a week under the old Action Cash system.

Winners hitting a video poker royal flush (max coin-in, no wild cards) or a $1,000-plus slot jackpot this month at the Las Vegas Hilton will receive a logo jacket in their choice of four colors. You must have your Resort International Player's Club card inserted when you hit your jackpot.

You can pick up a logo windbreaker jacket at the Vegas Club by hitting a jackpot of $300-plus on any machine. Next door at Binion's, players earning 2,000 points ($1,000 coin-in; no point redemption required) on Sundays this month will receive a $10 Wal-Mart gift card -- or earn 3,000 for a $25 card or 4,000 points for a $50 card.
