PHOTOS: New Spy Plane Touches Down

The first remotely piloted, MQ-9 Reaper spy plane assigned to the 42nd Attack Squadron arrives Tuesday at Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, 45 miles northwest of Las Vegas, after a flight from General Atomic's Gray Butte facility near Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.

Afterward, an airman runs his hand over the Reaper, also known as the big brother of the MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle because it can fly faster and higher and drop laser-guided bombs as well as fire missiles.
