Custom Home Loans of Las Vegas on Monday allied with Great Southwest Mortgage, a lending arm of First Magnus Financial Corp. of Tucson, Ariz.

The alliance will allow Custom Home Loans to originate loans around the country, including mortgage loans for customers who have second homes in other areas.
Custom Home Loans has 16 branches and 350 loan officers serving the Las Vegas Valley. Karl Holt is chief executive officer of the Las Vegas Company.
Privately held First Magnus said it funded $30 billion in loans last year.
Kellogg Media Group, the publisher of What's On magazne, named Jeff Weiser art director and production manager.
Letizia Ad Team named Stephanie Miller broadcast account coordinator.
Martin & Martin Civil Engineers and Surveyors named Tom Miller project manager and Pete Vomvus civil designer.
First Republic Bank named James Runge senior relationship manager. He'll work in First Republic's Las Vegas office.
The Public Utilities Commission named Grant Siwinski manager of the safety and quality assurance division. He replaces Craig Steele, who retired.
