LV man found dead in boat

REVIEW-JOURNAL

A Las Vegas man was found dead in a fishing boat on the Colorado River Monday morning, authorities said.

Larry Andrew Lewczyk, 59, is believed to have died of natural causes, but an autopsy will be performed by the Mohave County, Ariz., medical examiners office to determine the exact cause of death, said Lt. Steve Smith of the Bullhead City, Ariz., Police Department.

Lewczyk had gone fishing Sunday. When he did not return, family members began looking for him.

The aluminum boat was found about 10 a.m. Monday. It had run aground on a small island on the Arizona side of the river, Smith said.

The boat had launched from Bullhead City, Smith said.
