Shadow Ridge shuts down Arbor View

Harmon, Wilson combine to toss no-hitter

Shadow Ridge's Mandy Harmon and Caitlin Wilson combined on a no-hitter to lead the Mustangs to a 13-1 win over visiting Arbor View on Tuesday.

Harmon struck out 11 in four innings, and Wilson fanned three in the fifth.

Rayna Bradshaw went 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Mustangs.

Basic 12, Silverado 4 -- At Silverado, the Wolves scored nine runs on eight hits in the top of the seventh to defeat the Skyhawks.

Basic's Aaron Fisher went 5-for-5 with three runs, and Erika Stratton was 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Wolves.

Canyon Springs 8, Desert Pines 7 -- At Canyon Springs, Fernanda Alfaro smacked a bases-loaded triple to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh and scored the winning run on a passed ball as the Pioneers rallied to beat the Jaguars.

Amber Day had two doubles for Canyon Springs.

Clark 2, West Linn (Ore.) 1 -- At Clark, the Chargers managed just one hit but still edged the Lions.

Jordyn McDonald pitched a three-hitter with 15 strikeouts to get the win.

Valley 9, Rancho 8 -- At Valley, Vanessa Corona singled in Britney Burnett from third base in the sixth to lift the Vikings over the Rams.

Corona was 4-for-4 with three RBIs and Candice Soto and Burnett each went 3-for-4 for the Vikings.

Las Vegas 4, Eldorado 0 -- At Eldorado, Tajia Law pitched a one-hitter and Darleen Fernandez homered to lead the Wildcats past the Sundevils.

Bishop Gorman 8, Western 1 -- At West Flamingo Park, Claudia Franco was 2-for-3 with a double, two stolen bases and four runs to help the Gaels defeat the Warriors.

Danielle Whitworth added two hits and two RBIs for Gorman.

Arbor View 18, Mojave 1 -- At Mojave, the Aggies took advantage of 18 errors to pound the Rattlers.

Tiffanee Anderson and Kayla Devries each had two hits for Arbor View.

Centennial 14, Cheyenne 2 -- At Centennial, the Bulldogs scored 12 runs in the bottom of the first and rolled to the five-inning win.

Juelaine Noa had two doubles and three RBIs and Kristy Naugle was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Centennial.

Coronado 8, Liberty 4 -- At Liberty, Veronica Rothenhausler was 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and three runs scored to lead the Cougars over the Patriots.

Bonanza 12, Spring Valley 6 -- At Bonanza, Jen Carey went 2-for-4 with a home run and Brittany Spencer was 2-for-3 with two doubles as the Bengals defeated the Grizzlies.

Sierra Vista 11, Durango 1 -- At Durango, winning pitcher Kelsey McCoy allowed one earned run on four hits, struck out 11 and walked one as the Lions defeated the Trailblazers.

McCoy also went 3-for-5 for Sierra Vista

Del Sol 9, Vo-Tech 3 -- At Vo-Tech, Laurie Kosinski pitched a four-hitter, with seven strikeouts, as the Dragons downed the Roadrunners.

Del Sol's Stevie Davidson went 3-for-5 with a double, triple and two runs.

Green Valley 3, Foothill 1 -- At Green Valley, Alicia Firelein pitched a one-hitter, with nine walks and seven strikeouts, as the Gators defeated the Falcons.

Cimarron-Memorial 6, Palo Verde 2 -- At Palo Verde, Jennifer Liddell struck out four and pitched a two-hitter, and Brittany Henderson had a two-run double in the second inning to lead the Spartans over the Panthers.

Alisha Perry went 2-for-3 with a home run for Palo Verde.

Faith Lutheran 13-13, Virgin Valley 3-0 -- At Virgin Valley, the Crusaders rolled to the doubleheader sweep.

Demuriel Green went 3-for-3 in the second game with a homer, three RBIs and two runs.

Mountain View 8-7, Laughlin 9-6 -- At Laughlin, the Saints and the Cougars split a doubleheader.

Mountain View's Valencia Casey struck out 10 in the first game and eight in the second. Laughlin's Riyan Flannelly homered in each game.
