LAKE MEAD -- Anglers are having a little success in the Overton Arm. Look for stripers and catfish near Fire Cove and Stewarts Point. Some small-mouth bass might be found by working the points and drop-offs around the islands outside of Echo Bay.
Anglers still are catching striped bass on cut bait in the Boulder Basin. For bigger fish, work the Boulder Beach area. Trout fishing has been inconsistent at Saddle Cove and Hemenway. Striper fishing has been slow in those areas, too.

LAKE MOHAVE -- Fishing out of Cottonwood Cove continues to be slow. Anglers report their fish finders are picking up fish, but they can't goad them into biting.
The winds of spring have been blowing at speeds that are keeping many anglers off the water.
There was no report from Willow Beach.
LAS VEGAS URBAN PONDS -- Stocked rainbow trout continue to provide some action for anglers at urban ponds.
The ponds at Sunset Park and Veteran's Memorial Park in Boulder City were stocked Wednesday. Floyd Lamb State Park should receive trout this morning, but water temperatures at Lorenzi Park are too warm, so it will not receive any more trout until the fall.
For trout, go with worms, PowerBait or flies, and for bluegill try mealworms, flies or rolled-up pieces of bread.
EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR -- Spring break is sure to increase angling pressure on this Lincoln County reservoir, but anglers still should find good fishing for rainbow and tiger trout.
Worms and PowerBait are usually a good option for bait fishermen. Try fishing for them on a slip rig. Fly anglers may want to try olive or black Woolly Buggers and perhaps a crayfish pattern.
ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR -- Anglers continue to have success for stocked rainbows at this reservoir east of Pioche.
For anglers on the move, small spinners such as a Mepps or a Panther Martin might entice bites. Those who are more sedentary may want to go with PowerBait or another prepared bait.
There still are no reports that bass or crappie are active. The area received snow this week, and nighttime temperatures remain cold.
KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA -- As with other area waters, the reservoirs at Kirch will be busy this weekend and next week because of spring break.
If the weather holds, fishing conditions should be good, but watch out for the wind. Calm mornings often can turn into blustery afternoons, and that can be rough on float-tubers and boaters.
COMINS LAKE -- Some anglers have had success for trout, but the action won't heat up until the spawn is over.
Fly anglers who have been catching fish have done so with midges fished as a dropper below a nymph and a strike indicator. Those who prefer to use bait have found success with night crawlers and PowerBait.
